The high white-stone peaks of Northern Pirin descend dizzyingly downwards – huge stone moraines, impassable ravines, old pine forests gradually merge into beech forests and at the very bottom – wide flower meadows. Meadows that from early spring to late autumn turn into a picnic spot.
The place is unique, the two oldest and most beautiful of our mountains extend their arms for greeting and embrace precisely here in the Predela area. This is how people have called the place where the two mountains begin – Pirin to the south and Rila to the north. Or to put it another way – here, the two majestic mountains end, to merge into each other.
