Through their senses, children encounter the environment in which they live every day. They show interest in the four elements: fire, water, earth and air.
Contact with water during play has various meaningful aspects. From a psychological point of view, the stronger the connection of children with their roots, the more self-confident and secure they become. And if they get to know the beauty of water and its importance for humanity, then as adults, they will approach it with more social responsibility and will have more respect for water.
For children, play is a way to conquer the world around them. When playing with water, children communicate, help each other, interact with each other.
Water attraction – Banya village
This is not just a playground, it is a play area for children of all age groups. One can always have fun, regardless of how old they are. All facilities are developed depending on the wishes of children. The playground is unique and guarantees lots of games and smiles.
The water attraction has:
1. Manual water pump – reminiscent of a farm, a fairy tale or the old market square. It encourages play for a collective-emotional experience. The first child pumps while the other waits for the water to collect and lift the triangular wooden trough.
2. Triangular wooden trough – the movement of water is interesting and curious for children. With the attached triangular valve, children can control the amount of water that is poured onto the next facility along the water channel.
3. Metal wheel with blades – small blades arranged in a radial shape are very attractive to children. The metal blades are driven by the jet of water that falls from the wooden trough. The water passes through the chute and reaches the next facility.
4. Metal wheel – the force of movement of this wheel can be controlled by children. There are no age limits for playing with this facility. The water enters the wheel, goes up to the chute, passes into the wooden trough and reaches the table where sand figures can be made. The wheel rotates from above. It is safe because of the flexibility of the rubber.
5. Sand play area – here there are two sand play facilities, a wooden trough – moves the water to a sand play table, which is equipped with 4 chute for pouring water and this predisposes to role-playing games that develop imagination.
6. Bent – it stands still until the children decide. They can open the hole and the water can reach the bridge and under it. Users control the flow of water and its level along the canal. The ben is equipped with a valve that can stop and let the water flow along the canal.
7. Archimedes’ spiral – this facility clearly demonstrates the application of a physical law. With their own efforts, children can move the water from the bottom of the canal to the high part. The water is driven with one scoop. After releasing the water from the first dam, it reaches the second dam and the spiral starts to rotate manually. From the trough it pours into the lower trough. The children direct the water, they are its masters.
8. Wooden troughs – the two wooden troughs carry the water from the spiral back to the water channel.
9. Weir – the second weir along the water channel is equipped with overflows. Users can raise the water level and drive the spiral with more water. The water flows towards the cascade and flows down.
Play area – “Adventure route”
1. Hercules rope bridge – the facility is on a slope and this makes the game more exciting. The rope bridge is secured with railings. Physical activity is stimulated, communication skills are developed. This is a balancing bridge. The metal rings stop the moving one, so that he can safely move up or down the bridge, further developing and testing his skills. The ropes are of the “Hercules” type, with metal threads.
2. Slope slide – it impresses with its unique design and dimensions. Its curved parts in the middle guarantee the fun of the users, and its dimensions make it accessible to adults as well. The slide ends in a fall zone with a shock-absorbing sand surface.
3. Balance bridge – balance is an interesting activity not only for children, but also for adults. Balance exercises stimulate concentration and intelligence. The bridge is made of wooden blocks and steel ropes.
4. Pyramid – climbing in early childhood is a prerequisite for the development of children. The pyramid is recommended for children over 5 years old. The spatial network is a facility with various play options. The yellow ball on top can be set as a goal when playing games. It can be a prerequisite for various role-playing games, competitions.
Children can climb, balance or sit and talk. All activities here require consistency, improve concentration and logical thinking. Climbing, for example, improves writing and reading in children, because of the physical exercises they perform during play.
